overwhelmed
These picture at first don't look like they go together, but once I explain will make more sense. The first one represents a road. A road of the future and the further you go the more blurry it gets, but at the same time the bigger the obstacles get. This picture to me is very overwhelming because you don't know when you will end and you can't see in the future( when you get closer to the city) When you are arrive you are trapped between two choices. One is darker and the other has a better path( footprints) and is much brighter. If you choose the brighter one your will see the sun. The last picture is of the sun, emerging from all the strings attached to your decisions and illuminates with your new future.

this is a cancept i tried to photograph, but i found it very difficult. you were really successful i think and i loved the picture with the tractor tracks in it.
ReplyDeletealso, i liked the way you used light.
nice work
The first picture is my personal favorite. I definetely can relate to being overwelmed by looking at that picture.
ReplyDeleteThe image off the sun works perfectly for me because literally it overwhelms the picture while still conveying an abstract idea. The emotion is both obvious inside the image and provacative in a way that makes the viewer feel said emotion.
ReplyDeleteI like how you captured the deepness burried within your soul. (totes).
ReplyDeleteI agree with Beckett- very astute observations. The overall narrative you describe does, I think, help to shift the viewer's mind to better understand your intentions- though they work visually on their own. The title itself may be enough.
